i make fashion

You guys i am SO excited to tell you about a new product i’m launching – “I Make Fashion” tote bags!

Every time I leave the house i find myself reaching for a tote bag to fill with my random junk (ok fine, diapers and juice boxes hehehe) or to use as a shopping bag. Don’t you just hate using plastic bags? I do. I much prefer using my own reusable eco bag.

So a while ago i was standing in line at a sewing store, thinking about how much i love making clothing – how i love being the creator of my own fashion, and my own style – and how it means i can guarantee how it’s made – i can choose the materials, if i want to be sustainable i can. And as i was thinking this, my pile of fabric was shoved into a plastic bag. It felt a little… ironic.

Which is when i decided it was time to create the perfect tote bag for sewing and fashion enthusiasts. With a message that says something about us.

Who decides what’s stylish? Who are the trendsetters? Who makes fashion? We do! In our DIY loving, personal style praising and individuality seeking culture – we are the creators of fashion and style. This lovely tote bag is not only the perfect bag for all your essentials, it’s a statement about who we are.

I LOVE my bag, and i’m so thrilled to share it with you! It’s really the perfect statement and carry all for the fashion lover or sewing enthusiast.

Use it to carry everything and anything from your books, DIY projects, sewing purchases, knitting or as an environmentally friendly shopping bag.

They’re available in store here!

This is a lovely tote bag, I was definitely nodding as I read your post about things being shoved into a plastic bag and thinking “hmm… this is wrong…”

Adorable! You know what might be really cute: to get a few different colors of embroidery floss and embroider over top of the swirls and letters. I’ve been seeing a lot of cute embroidery projects lately, but i haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet.
