It’s Karri pattern tester roundup time! I love tester roundups – it’s so great to be able to share with you the huge variety of dresses our testers made. It’s actually seriously amazing how different these dresses all look. Just goes to show how much potential there is in this dress depending on your fabric choice and how you put print and pattern together! I love all of these makes and want to say a huge thank you to all of my pattern testers for helping test, Karri. We couldn’t keep doing what we do without our testers being so generous with their time and providing us with awesome feedback – please take a minute to check out some of their blogs and IG!
So my dears, without further ado, check out these amazing Karri dresses, and get ready to have your mind blown!

MADE
Karri dress from striped shirting, with the stripes in contrasting directions
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
The modern style and the panelling.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
Yes! My first version of the Karri pattern was actually a variation. I was using striped fabric so in order to minimise pattern matching, I combined the front panels together. I also cut the side bodice and skirt panels on the bias to achieve diagonal stripes. I would like to try the pattern again using all of the panelling in some floaty fabric with a non-repeating print, perhaps a floral design.

Annie // Find her on her blog The Enantiomer Project
MADE
Sleeveless Karri Dress from one fabric
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
My favorite part of the pattern was the bodice — the blocking and plunging back make it special. It was cleverly designed and lends itself to many variations and fabric fun.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I would like to try to color block the bodice and pair it with a solid skirt.

Nina // Find her on her blog Lemon Pie and Tie&Dye and on Instagram @crazygreenfruits
MADE
Karri dress with lace panels
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
I love the front panels! I used lace for the center ones and I think it gives a very sexy touch to the dress. I didn’t lined it to fully enjoy the lace and my bra is a tad visible but I’m OK with it and I think it’s not very noticeable if I wear a black one.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
Not yet, I’m still trying to find something more casual. I am also starting to think about a pink, green, or black (again!) with flowered panels. Or maybe a neoprene one? So far I’ve only made a black crepe and lace one.

I have no future versions planned…….yet!
