Sewing a cupped corset bodice

Cupped corset bodice | Sewing my daughter's dream Prom dress

I’m back with the next instalment of sewing my daughter’s dream Prom dress! In episode five i’m sewing the final cupped corset bodice and i’ll be taking you through every stage of the process and sharing all my tips, tricks and mistakes.

It’s so exciting to finally be at the stage where I am making things that will be part of the final ballgown. Up until now it’s been a really hard slog of pattern drafting, testing the pattern and making toiles, and learning how to actually sew corsets. I’m pretty tired actually, but i can see the finish and i’m getting my second wind just from the excitement.

I really hope you are enjoying following along as i make Bunny’s ballgown – if you have an questions or advice, as always please let me know in the comments.
