How to sew lazy mitred corners

How to sew lazy mitred corners - shown on Megan Nielsen Marri Sewing Pattern

Today I want to share a quick trick with you for sewing mitred corners. I call these lazy mitred corners because they’re the ones I do when I can’t be bothered measuring, trimming or making things harder than they need to be.

I’ll be showing you on this new tie strap cami top I made using my Marri camisole and slip dress sewing pattern. I recently sewed a View A camisole top for Bunni but ran out of fabric to do the hem facing that is included in the pattern – so i thought it was the perfect opportunity to share this technique with you!

I really hope you enjoy my lazy mitred corners – if you have any questions at all let me know in the comments!
