It’s time to finish up our Brumby skirts, only the hem is left now! There are two different Brumby hem methods, depending on which view and what type of fabric you are using, so I’ll cover both here.
Version 1
This hemming method for Version 1 meant for heavier-weight fabrics.

Fold under 1/2″ at the hemline and press.

Fold under 2.5″ and press. Pin in place.

Topstitch from the right side of the fabric, so that it catches the folded edge underneath.
Version 2 + Version 3
This hemming method is for Version 2 & Version 3 and is meant for lighter-weight fabrics.

Fold under 1/4″ and press.

Fold under 1/4″ once again and press. Pin in place.

Sew in place close to the folded edge. And you’re done!
