Sometimes when making our own handmade jeans we can make annoying mistakes, like attaching the jeans button on a bit wonky – or perhaps you have a pair of jeans that you can’t use because the button is broken. If that is the case then today’s post is for you! I’ll be walking you through how to remove and replace jeans buttons on any pair of jeans.
For this video I used my very first pair of Ash jeans that I ever made. You can see a few construction issues with them, as well as the fact that the jeans button was a bit too small, and when i installed it i didn’t hammer perfectly straight and installed it wonky. I’m so glad you can learn from my mistakes, so today i’ll be showing you how to remove a wonky button and replace it with a new one. This method works for any item of clothing that includes a jeans shank button (including my Dawn jeans pattern),
