We’re in the home stretch now! All that’s left to do is hem our Protea. There are two different hemming methods, depending on which view you made. So I’ll go over both of them.
Hemming the Tops, Straight Sleeves, and Non-Tiered Skirt

Turn in 3/8″ (1cm) towards the wrong side of the fabric and press.

Fold in 1 5/8″ (4cm) and press well again.

Topstitch close to the folded edge to enclose the raw edges.

Repeat the same way for the fitted sleeves.
Hemming the Tiered Skirt and Dress, and Flutter Sleeves

Turn up the raw edge 3/8″ (1cm) towards the wrong side of the fabric and press.

Turn in 3/8” (1cm) once more and press again.

Topstitch close to the folded edge to enclose the raw edges.

Repeat the same process for the flutter sleeves.
