We’re getting so close to the finish line with our Kelly skirts! Let’s get the hem done, shall we? This is going to be a short and sweet, easy post.

Turn up the hem 1/2″ (1.3cm) inwards towards the wrong side of the fabric, and press.

Turn inwards again 2″ (5cm), press, and pin.

Stitch close to the folded edge to enclose.
If you are using a decorative topstitch thread you may find it easier to topstitch on the outside of the skirt, rather than the inside.

That’s it! Your new Kelly skirt is done, well done!
