Today we will be sewing the Reef shorts seams. Note: I’ll be showing you View B, but View C is very similar just without the curved hem.
First, open the two shorts legs and place them right sides together.
Sew the front and back crotch seams 5/8” (1.5cm) from the raw edge. Finish the raw edges and press the seams open or to the back.
Open the shorts and line up the inseams with right sides together. Sew the inseam 5/8” (1.5cm) from the raw edge.
Finish the raw edges as desired, and press the seams open or to the back.
We will stop here today, but look at our shorts really coming together!
