Tania sewalong schedule

Tania Culottes sewalong schedule by Megan Nielsen Patterns

Hey everyone! Holly here!

Who are our Tania lovers out there? *raises hand*. I know the Tania culottes are not a new pattern, but we’ve actually never done a proper sewalong! What?! With the release of the new, updated pattern – which includes the new sizing, some new versions, and the addition of pockets, it seemed like the perfect time to go over every detail! So with that said, here’s the full list of Tania posts and tutorials coming up and the Tania sewalong schedule!

Here are some older Tania posts you might find useful :

And some older tutorials that could help!

We absolutely love seeing what you make, so don’t forget to tag your creations with #MNtania and @megannielsenpatterns when sharing on social media, and check out what everyone else is up to!

I’m just today in the process of making the knee length Tania cullottes with the new pattern (I had previously bought the original length but purchased again because of the new versions) and I’m about to add the waistband when it occurred to me (too late for this pair) that the Flint pocket fastening could also be used do you think? (I don’t like zips in very lightweight fabric like some viscose as it changes the drape and feel on one side).

Ros is this SUCH a cool idea! You should be able to – i would swap out the entire Flint waistband pattern pieces for the Tania waistband pattern pieces and you should be good to go! These two patterns have the same pocket distance from side seam, so i don’t foresee any problems. Good luck and can’t wait to hear how this turns out!
