Version 1 // Slim leg jeans
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
I love all the options – one pattern has all the leg styles I would want to make.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
In the future, I want to use a heavier denim than I initially used, and use a dark (instead of contrasting) topstitching. For my tester garment, I hand stitched the button hole, and I embroidered a saying into the waistband. I also added a “non-traditional” print for my pocket bags (dinosaur sheet I found at a thrift store)!

HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
The ease of making the fly, because the instructions were very clear.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I have planned another one, but I’m not going to make any significant alterations in it.

HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
The “if you can’t find a denim with that stretch, try this instead” bit in the instructions! I mean, the clarity of the instructions and plenty of diagrams helped, but I really appreciated the fabric help the most!
Jeans were my “too hard basket” pattern, but I’m very glad I got to make a pair and can’t wait to make more.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
Currently I’ve made a black pair with a dark green top stitch thread. I’m thinking of either making a patterned pair (floral, probably) or jumping on the embroidery train!

HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
The ease that it went together and the overall fit.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
Am wondering about a pair using a large print fabric with less (no) stretch. Also a shorts version.

Version 1 // Slim leg jeans
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
Customizing the pocket stitching & thinking about hardware placement etc. A jeans pattern can be altered to make so many customizations so it was nice to think of ways to make the jeans stand out & unique to me. I started with the fabric & then I realised who on earth would make a pair of jeans in this wild fabric!! hahaha
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
Yes!! My pinterest board has been going crazy with pins of jeans & ideas. I want to make a dark blue pair but with black topstitching as opposed to the regular gold/mustard thread. Id also like to have a go at a white pair but then I think…..toddler!!! Maybe not just yet.:-)

WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I have a future version planned using a floral denim. I drafted my own pocket stays on this tester version.

Version 1 // Slim leg jeans
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
The style is exactly what I wanted from a jeans pattern and I have never managed such a fantastic fit on anything I’ve made for myself, particularly trousers or skirts with no need for alterations.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I made my first pair in an indigo jacquard stretch denim but I would love to fill my wardrobe with them. I’d like to try some of the wider leg versions and experiment with different fabrics. I’d wear jeans all the time if I could buy ones that fit so being able to make my own really is the dream!

HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
My favourite about the pattern is it’s versatility. With four versions , it’s like you can make 4 different type of jeans. Once you get your perfect fit , you can make them over and over again.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I am thinking of making the slim leg jeans v1

Version 4 // Wide leg jeans
HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
The fit into the small of my back!! No gaping and not too tight either, they’re so comfy which isn’t always true of jeans.
A classic, great-fitting pair of jeans with excellent well-written and easy to follow instructions and diagrams.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I’m going to look out for a stretch cord and possibly a coloured denim too but I haven’t had time to make more, yet.

HER FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PATTERN
the fit of the legs, it’s just perfect! and the alternative buttonhole method, it’s such a pain when you mess up a buttonhole on an otherwise perfect pair of jeans.
WHAT SHE IS PLANNING ON MAKING NEXT
I’ll try to make an other pair of the skinny variation, and I have to say I’m very intrigued by the wide leg variation, so I will probably make one also!
