At the beginning of this year my dad turned 60 and took us all down south to Bunker Bay for a family holiday to mark the occasion. I honestly can’t think of a better way to spend a birthday to be honest, it was such a wonderful trip, with so many special memories made.

My parents have always filled their home with family photos, and since they didn’t have any photos of our entire family together, I booked a family photo session with amazing Holly Murphy as a surprise birthday present. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier with this decision! Holly is an amazing lifestyle photographer – she made us all feel at ease and somehow managed to get a heap of very natural photos of all us (including the kids!) all looking at the camera. I am floored. As someone who is constantly trying to get a photo of all three of my kids at once, i can’t get over how she did it. Even more shocking is that my Mom and I usually manage to have at least one of us with our eyes closed in family photos – and here we both are, eyes open! Magician!
It’s just too wonderful to have all these photos of my parents, and my brother and his girlfriend, and Chris and my kiddos – all of us together. My heart might burst.
Anyway, I love how these photos turned out so much that i couldn’t resist sharing a few of my favourites with you! This is fair warning that a massive photo dump is about to take place ;)
