My sweet Bunny has a very defined sense of what she wants to wear – and it’s almost always the opposite of the weather report.
It’s the winter school holidays in Perth right now, and any time that she marches off to get dressed, i find myself yelling after her “make it something warm! not a skirt! not a dress! real shoes!”

She finds a way out of my demands… by wearing culottes. Sneaky little love. Though i’m really glad to see these culottes still getting some love. They’re one of the Mini Tania test samples i made during development last year – they’re a really lovely chambray and they’ve now lasted a year and half of hard wear and still going strong, so i feel pretty happy about that.
On this particular day she decided to wear all the things she loves, and none of them made any sense for a cold winter day playing on the swings… and yet, I can’t help but love her fierce sense of self, that not even the weather can sway her.
So if you want to dress like Bunny in the winter, the formula is a floral leotard (of course) + a ballet cardigan (duh) + Mini Tania culottes (V3) + Saltwater sandals (they go with everything) + that extra bag of the super warm clothing that mum always brings. Because your mum’s always got your back, even when you make super inappropriate sartorial choices.
