My handmade Christmas decorations!

Handmade Christmas decorations

I love handmade Christmas decorations! Not only are they more special, but it’s so much easier to keep a consistent theme going in your home. Interestingly, it’s turned out to be quite cheap too. I bought a lot of Christmas themed fabrics and felts in the first year on sale, and I’m STILL using them. I think there will be supplies for years to come!

Here are a few tutorials for handmade Christmas decorations that I’ve shared over the years:

Don’t forget to check out these awesome handmade ornaments too! I received them as part of a handmade ornament exchange three years ago, and my kids absolutely fight over who gets to hang them on the tree each year. That’s how awesome they are.

On Saturday we had our third annual Christmas ornament party for my daughter and her friends. She was 10 when we started. This year we needle-felted our ornaments, using left-over sock yarn for hanging- ribbons.
