Cute tshirt pattern. Lots of possible variations. I like the hi-lo hem. Would suit for a summer or colder weather make.

Version 4, long sweater
What her daughter thought of the finished top
My baby-girl wants to live in it 24/7 ! Her Briar is warm and comfy, plus I chose a fabric with Parrots and flamingoes so what’s not to love about that ;)
i’ll be making at least 4 of these each season

Version 1, short sleeved crop top (with a little length added in the front)
What her daughter thought of the finished top
She really likes it and it is in heavy rotation. Now that my daughter has outgrown pink skirts, pink dresses and frozen outfits its difficult to know what to move onto next. I found the contemporary style of this top great for her age (8 yr), I’ve made two mini briars and some skirts to go with them and we are good to go!

Version 1, shorted sleeve crop top with heart applique
Her favourite thing about the pattern
I was excited that the sizes and the style is suitable for all 4 of my daughters aged 5, 7,10 and 12- it’s a rare pattern that can span this range of ages and be appropriate for all of them while simultaneously catering for their differing personal styles. But the Briar with it’s different length, sleeve and pocket options, with the right fabric choice, does cater for them all excellently!

Her favourite thing about the pattern
The hi-low hem, they can easily bend over without their backs being exposed or cold.

Version 4, long sleeve tees and sweaters
Her favourite thing about the pattern
I really love the many options you can choose from. T-shirt or sweater, cropped or normal length, pockets, patches or appliques. Every shirt or sweater you make is totally different when you’re going for another design feature or variation.

What her daughter thought of the finished top
Imogen loved her new shirts! She wore one to kindy the next day and when I picked her up the teacher told me she had been telling people “mummy made it” all day.

What she thought of the pattern
The pattern is great – its a cool modern look that has loads of options and I love all the little extras included with it – the appliqués, elbow patches and pockets.
