Oh you guys i am SO SO excited to share this sneakpeek of my newest collection Le Cirque with you today!
It has been so hard keep quiet about this over the last few months, and i’m thrilled that i can finally tell you about it!
This special collection is a group of 4 easy wear casual patterns inspired by the circus and all things whimsical. I have poured my heart and soul into it and i hope you like it as much as me.
The first pattern i’ll be releasing is the tightrope leotard. I love this pattern so much! It will have two variations, one with the peplum and one without, and will be a stretch jersey pattern. This is a great piece for those days when you feel like you have nothing to wear. I would love to see someone make a winter version, maybe with tights and boots – how amazing would that be?!
The next pattern is the Ringmaster blazer. I really wanted to create a pattern with more challenging aspects, and a lot of details – and i think this pattern really nails it. The pattern will include very detailed step by step instructions on how to create the topstitching on the cuffs and lapels. This pattern has about 30 pattern pieces, so i think it’s more to your intermediate level sewer than a pure beginner pattern.
I’ve been wanting to design some pants for all of you for ages, but i wanted them to be the perfect combination of style and comfort. I feel like i’ve really acheived that with the Clown pants. These pants are so SO comfortable, and can be styled in so many ways! They come with pockets (I LOVE POCKETS!), suspenders and as a bonus a super short crop top. I’m kind of dying with excitement over this pattern. It’s become a real wardrobe staple for me, and is perfect for those school drop off days when i want to look cool but comfortable.
But the last pattern is probably my favourite. The Pierrot jumpsuit is the pattern i think i’m most proud of to date. So much thought went into all the special details. The ruffles and the oversized buttons are very close to my heart. Also, pockets again. You guys know i love pockets, i just had to add more. This pattern comes with a winter option (pictured) and a summer option, which is sleeveless and the pants are shorter. The PDF pattern is quite large, so make sure you allocated about 6 hours to the download time, and a full ream of printer paper when printing out.
I am so excited to hear what you guys think of my latest collection!!
HAHAHA GOTCHA! APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!!
