what three looks like

Before this little baby girl was born i used to wonder what it would be like with 3 kids. Not going to lie, we’ve already had our fair share of crazy-everyone-needs-attention-at-the-same-time moments, but most of the time, three looks like this.

Two big kids loving on their little sister. It amazes me how they can spend so much time each day just staring at her and telling her how much they love her.

The house is messy. The laundry is not done. I have no idea when i’ll be sewing again. And we’re only slightly closer to figuring out how all our routines work together. But everyone is happy.

It’s kind of perfect from where i stand.

oh this is so sweet and perfect! i love how kids like having other kids around, and especially babies. our third was a bit colicky and needed EXTRA attention but those big two (especially biggest sis) just adore him all the same – and now that he’s grown out of the colic stuff and is more interactive, it’s even better. doesn’t it just make your heart burst?? enjoy your little pile of kids! :)

Look at all that love <3
It is amazing to see! It melts my heart <3
I sometimes have wondered, what is the hardest; going from no children to one, or from one to two? and so on and so on...
But I have come to the conclusion that the most challinging has to be going from no kids to your first. It is OVERVELMING! But oh, the love!
I remember when I was pregnate whit nr two (I only have two...) that I was worried there would`nt be enough love for both. How could there physically be room for more in my heart?? There was allready soooo mutch! My heart would burst! I was seriously stressing about that!
But everything went just the way It was supposed to, and now my heart is filled with equal love for both my children <3

So gorgeous! I too am amazed at how much my 4 year old loves and dotes on his 3 week old wee brother. All he wants to do is kiss and cuddle him. I was expecting raging jealousy, but so far so good! Hope it stays that way for you!

Beautiful time three!!! As I happily sew maternity clothes for one of my dear daughters, from MN patterns, of course, your pictures brought a smile to my face and joy to my heart, as I reflected on my four wonderful, now-grown children who didn’t give a hoot if the house was a little messy or the laundry was piling up. What they wanted was together time as a family, not dust-free woodwork. Congratulations on your lovely new addition.

I am in love with this post! My favorite niece (shhhh, don’t tell the others!) just had her FIRST baby. It’s kind of funny and sweet at the same time. You know, hasn’t bathed in days, house blew up, can’t cook a thing, completely exhausted and a blink away from the Ugly Cry at any time. She tells me that she could never imaging having more. HA! Just, HA! Your 3 are so lovely!
