over and over again

Megan Nielsen maternity wrapped top + shorts

When i find a fabric i love i just can’t stop myself from using it over and over again… Which is exactly what happened with the fabric for these shorts! After making this Darling Ranges tunic with it, i was so in love with it’s soft drapey-ness that i really wanted a pair of shorts too!

They immediately became my favourite maternity shorts. Wearing shorts during summer is kind of a necessity, but sometimes i feel like they’re too casual – with these i feel so much more put together. They’re awesome. I need to dig into more of my ” pretty” fabrics for a few more pairs of shorts i think.

The real question is whether at some point i will just completely lose it and pair the shorts with the matching tunic… you know me, i’ll probably go there :)

ps. there is still a little bit of this lovely fabric left in store!

I feel the same! Once I finish something with a fabric I really love, I immediately want to make a thousand more clothes with it. Unfortunately, I rarely buy enough fabric for two things ! I don’t know why, but when I’m in a shop I never think of buying more :)
