You’ve probably noticed that I really like Bias tape :) I include it in a lot of my patterns, because it makes life so so much easier. I know most people find facings a pain – and in my opinion they look kind of icky too.
So a few months ago i started making Megan Nielsen logo bias tape to sew into all my samples, i feel like it gives an extra cute factor – and saves me the trouble of sewing in labels (i know, that sounded really lazy). I love this stuff!
I put a photo Instagram of the bias tape i make for myself a few weeks ago, and i got so many emails about it, that i’ve decided to put some in the shop! We’ve already sold out of the pale pink – but there is still white with black logo, and black with white logo. It’s 1/2″ wide single fold tape, pre-shrunk, and comes in 2 yard lengths – which should be more than enough for any Megan Nielsen pattern you’re using (i’ve made sure it’s a good length for necklines plus armholes if you’re thinking of doing sleeveless Darling Ranges or Banksia).
