Winterized
It’s funny – I know Australia is known for warm weather, and sun and surf and all that… but honestly, my favourite season in Perth is winter.
It’s so fabulously mild – and I love that i can actually wear blazers, and nice jackets and layers and not have to top it with a puffer coat. I do like summer – but it’s hard going here. I end up wearing the bare minimum because it’s so insufferably hot – but winter? That’s the place where fashion lives…
So even though i’ve technically had two winters this year… i’m actually kind of wishing this one won’t end

I know what you mean about winter! I just spent July in Perth, mostly in or near the hills/Swan Valley (surprised I didn’t see you out and about) and the weather was so divine. Compared to, you know, winter in Ohio or Iowa ;) Glad you are settling in well.
oh my gosh you were right in my neighborhood!! can’t believe we didn’t bump into each other either!! The winter here really is divine isn’t it?? Definitely compared the winters i had in Iowa heheheh. I kind of hope it won’t end!
