You guys i had so much fun this week looking through all the projects in the Megan Nielsen patterns Flickr group!! Thanks to everyone who has shared projects – I am blown away!

Anyway, I just love this Banksia that Louise made. She ran out of fabric so redrafted the collar – and i have to say, i really adore this small subtle collar! Isn’t it gorgeous?

And seriously, cat buttons? Could that be any more awesome? I think i need to start adding more quirky buttons to my projects!

Louise looks great! Buttons definitely add a touch to any garment but cat buttons? It can’t get any cuter!

hey! i just replied to your comment on flickr , but wasn’t sure if you’ll see it, so here it is: megan – thank you so, so much for featuring my project on your blog!! everything you wrote is so tremendously nice – it really made my day!! i’ve been admiring your blog for such a long time and i absolutely love all of your patterns! i stumbled upon this post on my morning blog reading routine and was so surprised and flattered! i’ve been obsessed with garment sewing ever since i discovered it last winter and your patterns are such a great part of it! can’t wait to try the kelly skirt! thank you! :)
