Chris likes to tease me that i’m a nut about recycling and “hoarding” things to reuse. Maybe i am – but i think it’s more that i just hate waste. It honestly pains me to throw things in the trash. If possible i love finding a new use, instead of sending things to the landfill.
At the beginning of working with our new manufacturer, we got a few pattern misprints back – not huge errors, but still unusuable as patterns. But i just couldn’t bring myself to throw them out. Maybe that’s silly?
So I posed the question on facebook of how i could reuse them – and got some really great suggestions! One of which was using them to package orders.
I usually use tissue paper to wrap my clothing before sending them off to customers – but I have to admit, I love this new idea way more!
I gave it a try on an order i sent out last week – and i have to say, i think it looks pretty darn cute! Yay for reusing! What do you think?
