Enjoying The Quiet

It’s been a very interesting thing – moving back home, and beginning my business all over again. Everything has taken much longer than i’d like – and i have felt frustrated. But finally, things are falling into place as they should, and the store will be reopening in 2 weeks. I’m so excited!

On the flip side – i know things will be crazy hectic once we reopen. It always is when i take a break. So this week, I”m having a holiday of sorts. I’m trying to take full advantage of the fact that i have nothing to do till stock arrives, and i’m resting. It feels like the first time in a very long time that i’ve just sat an existed. I’m kind of loving it.

We’ve been spending almost all our time in the backyard – me reading with my legs stretched out, and the kids playing. And today we spent the day at the zoo. It’s nice to feel so calm and content – especially since i will be running around like crazy in a week or so,

Till then, we breathe, and enjoy the quiet.

I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying your time off. It’s so necessary to relax in order to motivate us to continue working. I’m also excited for your new store to open!
