A Girl And Her Elephant

As promised, here are the leggings  I made for Bunny that match mine! They are so awesome i’m almost more in love with hers than mine! This is a pretty perfect example of a “Preschool” outfit for Bunny. They do lots of activities, and have to go to the bathroom by themselves – so i like to keep things really comfy and easy for her to take on and off herself. We stick to leggings and elastic waist pants – she still finds buttons, zips and snaps very stressful in the heat of the moment. Hehehe oops i’m not sure how that became a potty discussion? Sorry! Typical mom…

Anyway, back to the title of this post… Bunny loves elephants. She loves them so much that we have a ridiculous collection of different types of Elephant toys, as well as elephant related cartoons. I didn’t think it was possible to have a favourite animal when you’re 3.5, but i would say with 100% certainty her favourite animal is the Elephant. So, when i told her I wanted to take pictures of her leggings she told me she wanted me to take a photo of baby elephant too (this is one of a family). How could i say no to such a cute request? So my dear friends, meet baby elephant who is affectionately named Lumpy (after the elephant in Pooh’s Heffalump movie).

She then taught me how to kick an elephant… hmmm. Hehehe almost had me rolling on the floor i was laughing so hard.

Bunny is wearing:
Leggings: Megan Nielsen
Tunic Top: c/o Tea Collection last year (it’s crazy to me that this used to be a dress on her!! She’s so tall now! See how she wore it last year here)
Boots: Minnetonka High Trampers (these run wayyyyy small. She is normally an 8 or 8.5, and i had to get these in a 10!)

Oh gosh: that sequence of elephant-kicking photos are probably the cutest thing I have EVER seen. Jazzy cardigans are an excellent wee-lady idea, too!
