Remember how I told you I wanted to make more holly garlands?? I am may be a little obsessed… hehehe. But I did make these a little different than the last ones.
I was trying to think of a different way to make a garland when I realised I could use a similar method that Dana used to make this really cute garland. Dare I say it was even easier than the last holly garland??
Here’s how i made it!
Once again i started with green and red felt.
I cut a bunch of leaves and a bunch of berries.
This is honestly so easy. Just sew right through the centre of your first piece (i started with a leaf) when you get to the end, place another done and sew right down the centre of that one and keep doing that, alternating between leaves and berries until you get a garland as long as your heart desires!
I LOVE how this turned out! And seriously, could this be easier? I honestly made a tonne of these. They rock. I may or may not have (okay totally did) go a little crazy putting them everywhere. Even my poor dress form got in on the action… my house is like a freaking Holly bush now. And i’m absolutely okay with that hehehe
