Breakfast

We had such a lovely morning on Friday. Everyone in Chris’ office has been working late a lot recently, due to some impending deadlines – so on Friday we decided to go out for breakfast, and have our family time in the morning since we’re not getting much of our evenings anymore.

I honestly cannot believe how much fun it was. Normally when we try and go out for a meal with the kids it’s an absolute disaster. But this time, they were angelic. For a whole 45 minutes we all happily ate away – an epic amount of time for 2 little toddlers!

So I think this might be the first of a quite a few morning outings.

Meanwhile, who’s excited about this cool weather? It’s so nice to be able to enjoy Fall here in Virginia – i love being able to wear a sweater and just feel comfortable (on the same day last year i was already in tights and a coat! yikes Iowa!)

oh and yes ummm i really should have ironed my skirt… lets pretend that weird crinkle didn’t happen k? cool hehehe

Love the combo of blues in your outfit. That scalloped skirt is KILLAH.

I love the image of you and your sweet family having breakfast together. It’s great that you’re able to make time for each other that way.
