Touristy Kind Of Things

A couple of weeks ago (okay lets get real, over a month ago – i’m really slow at posting things!), my inlaws came to visit.

We had a blast hanging out with them! We did the stereotypical DC tourism, but also did some more Virginia stuff like taking a nice long drive along Skyline drive with views of the stunning Shenandoah valley.

The rather sad thing, is that i think this is the first photo of chris and i together in like 8 months. Woah right? I guess we just end up waiting till family members are around till we actually get documented together! The last time we have a photo together was back home over Christmas! hehe oh well – at least the adorable kiddos are incredibly well documented!!

Thanks for coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa, we miss you already!

(ps. as a side note, people are always asking me how much of my wardrobe is comprised of my own designs, and i think these family photos are a good representation – about 3/4 my work, about 1/4 other stuff! )

Such sweet pictures of your sweet family! Love that you all went out to Skyline Drive – the green mountains of Virginia are literally one of my favorite things about VA. And I love that being in Warrenton means being not that far from them OR the city :).

I was only there last summer visiting my American side of the family. Such a good holiday! I love how you captured the view in the background of your photos.

Oh goodness, at first I was like,”Does she see that a strange man is taking a picture of her little girl!?!?!?!?” Then I started reading and I was relieved to discover it was a grandpa LOL. The protective mommy gene, once activated is STRONG.

Lovely family and lovely scenery, lucky (or blessed rather) you.

Aw, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a pic of you two together! I must have missed the other ones! I’m so jealous you went to Skyline Drive – one of my favorite places in the world!

I just have to say that your little ones are pretty cute. My husband and I have the same problem with getting our picture together. I can’t remember the last time we did that.
