Yellow Fever

Hey all, it’s yellow day on EBEW – and look at me being a good girl and wearing yellow. And you know what it almost didn’t happen because Chris came home so late from work we almost ran out of light! hehe

I’m actually rather proud of myself because I always (read: ALWAYS) forget to wear the right thing on EBEW days, so i’m thrilled that i remembered! yay! Pat on the back meg…

And also, i’m happy to say that I remembered to wear this dress the right way round this time. If you recall, I made it from vintage pillowcases – and you know what? Its still one of my favourites. So glad i cleaned out my closet and was reunited again.

So did you wear yellow today my darlings?!

Yesterday’s max in Perth was 12.6 degrees C, which is totally freezing (by our standards!), so I’m envying the summery look right now!!!

thanks vetty!! Hehe yeah my mom called me to tell me how freezing she was and that her dad are really “suffering”. It totally made me giggle hehe

Your dress is adorable! Yay for repurposing that awesome fabric! I’ve heard about EBEW here and there on blogs but have never visited the site. Coincidentally, I did wear yellow today.

Thanks so much Vickie!! The neckline took ages because I did it all by hand, but i’m really happy with how it turned out! (also i LOVE the buttons you sent me!! I can’t wait to use them in a project!). Love you!! XOXO

I love how this dress can be worn more than one way, and the detailing at the back is so pretty! Also, I love the pattern and how the white gives it a little something special!

Thanks Charlotte! I probably shouldn’t wear it backwards (it makes me look a tad pouchy), but it really is fun to be able to wear it differently like that once in a while!
