I’ve been having so much fun sketching on the computer, and I feel like the more I practice the better it gets. Just for fun I’ve been doing little pictures of designs from past collections. This one is the Lady dress from SS2010

Megan Nielsen Sudley dress and blouse sewing pattern // Reversible loose fit blouse and gathered waist dress. Pattern features keyhole cut out, ties, a peter pan collar and three sleeve lengths. Can be worn with keyhole in the front or back. Version 1 is a blouse with above elbow sleeves and a peter pan collar. Version 2 is a cropped blouse with short sleeves. Version 3 is an empire waist dress with gathered skirt and ¾ length sleeves.

What kind of designing program do you use?

Hey sophie – I use a Wacom Intuis 4 Pen tablet and draw straight into Photoshop! It’s quite comparable to drawing on a sketch pad with a pen, which is what I like about it! But then gives me the freedom to change sizes, colours etc at will. It’s quite fun!
