Remember yesterday when I told you I had made something for Bunny from the bottom tier of the Dynamite dress? Well say hello to culottes!
Originally i wanted to make her a little skirt, because i thought it would be so adorable. Until I remembered that she is a toddler and she’s constantly jumping, crouching, spinning on her head etc… which is when I thought of making culottes! The practicality of shorts plus the cuteness of a skirt? yes please!
They are now my hubbies favourite bottoms for Bunny to wear – I take that as the highest form of praise!
I made the waistband out of jersey and elastic so it would be super comfy. And now she can jump around, and then crouch to colour, and all while being cute and practical!
Oh… and this is what happens when you ask a toddler to stand still so you can take a front on picture… that’s some serious diva attitude people.
