Hot Fudge

Do you ever have one of those days when no matter where you go, or what you do – everyone is looking at you?

And you think to yourself, wow I must look really super awesome today. My ability to pair a blouse and skirt together is so attention getting – i’m a style genius! Perhaps I’ve lost weight, or my makeup is just perfect!

Until you catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror. And are horrified to find a huge hot fudge sundae smudge across your cheek.

Todays lesson? If you decide to take your kids out for icecream sundaes instead of giving them a real lunch – be prepared to pay the price. Or make sure your purse is full of wet wipes.

Top: Megan Nielsen Dunes top, SS2011
Skirt: Gift from my SIL
Shoes: Sunshine wedge in natural c/o Wanted
Belt: Vintage Coach, thrifted

Cute story, and cute skirt. I think we all have those ‘whoops’ moments.

I think they were looking at your outfit, it is very pretty! If anyone saw chocolate on your cheeks they should have said something. Glad you like the skirt! I bought it from a Chinese department store in Chongqing.

Love this shirt with the skirt! Such a fun combo. The Peter Pan collar is especially cute. :) I have definitely done something like that before… shame on all those people who didn’t tell you!

Gosh… if I had a dollar for every time I ended up walking around with something on my face, then I’d be rich. rofl. ;)

Love your entire outfit–that skirt is so beautiful!

OH MY GOODNESS, your cheek?! I’m sorry but that is too hilarious. I am a five-year-old too, I constantly have chocolate smeared everywhere. If it helps, I would’ve stared at your styling skills. You look stare-worthy in this outfit with or without the smudge.
