Hey Hay Hey

Am i the only one who thinks these hay rolls look like giant toilet rolls?? I think I drive my husband crazy saying that every time we drive by some. Which is pretty much every day. Poor guy. But I can’t help commenting on them, because they always look so amazing strewn across a rolling field. I wish I was a super amazing landscape photographer, because I always yearn to take some kind of picture… Have I told you how much I love Virginia? Only 500 ka-billion times? See, I couldn’t stay mad long :)

I love that time of year when you start rediscovering all your seasonal clothing. I haven’t worn this skirt since last summer, and I’ve missed it so much!! Sometimes my oldest designs are still my favourites… can’t wait to get some more wear out of it this summer!

I am always so fascinated by the big rolls of hay. We have them here in Texas. I’ve never thought of them as big toilet paper rolls. Now I always will.

Your skirt is adorable.

Love the way you dressed up your skirt. :)
When I always thought they looked like giant tootsie rolls, or when they have those white plastic covers like giant marshmallows. When I was little we used to try to jump from the top of one to the next.

I love the skirt!

Sometimes they wrap the hay bales in white plastic…then they look exactly like giant marshmallows!

Have you seen the bales of hay that are wrapped up in white plastic??? Then they really look like toilet paper scattered across a field.

I love that outfit! You look amazing in it!

Such a lovely area you live in, it looks so rural and full of character! I’m from Australia (Brisbane) by the way, stumbled upon your blog by accident while googling whether it’s possible to make diy maternity clothing (despite the fact that I am a years away from needing to do this, but just wanted to know it was possible hehe). I read through pages and pages before I realised you are from Perth! Loving your blog, and your designs, and all of your posts!!
