I both love and hate the weeks coming up to launching a collection. It’s exciting, because I’ll finally get to share what I’ve been working on. But it’s also incredibly stressful and nerve wracking. There are so many more things to organise than simply the designs themselves. All the background administrative things somehow always end up taking up much more time and energy than I’d like.
Funnily enough, I find the rush of orders after release less stressful – and somehow almost relaxing? There is no more designing, no more editing, no more organising, no more planning. I can just enjoy the thrill of it. And I love that. (lets just ignore all the ‘fun’ bookkeeping ok?). Though the next couple of weeks will involve a lot of finalizing things, of me stressing, and obsessing over little details – I’m excited about whats to come. So very very excited.
And if you’re waiting on a response to an email, or a comment, or you think I’m just plain ignoring you. Please forgive me, I’m honestly really sorry!! I promise I will do my best to get back to everyone, I’m just a little overwhelmed this week. And drinking a lot of coffee.
