Over The Weekend

So how was everyones weekend? We had such a lovely time! Everyone (except me) is still a little sick, so we took it easy and went into town for breakfast. There are just so  many adorable places hear us now! We went to this super cute place slap bang in the middle of the old town, called the Red Truck Bakery – the food was amazing, the coffee was great, and the decor was all gorgeously rustic – they even had a red truck outside, and red truck cookies! I’m really enjoying exploring our new town!

On Sunday we went for the second time a church that we really really like, and think we’ll probably start going to permanently, and in the arvo we visited the park near our house because the weather was brilliant. Bunny made absolutely huge potty training progress (don’t worry I won’t go into details and gross you out), and I got so much done work wise as well. I’ve even got a great new project I’ve been wanting to share with all of you for months, and I’m finally ready to reveal this week! It was a great weekend, and its gonna be a great week my friends, i can feel it!

That bakery looks adorable. It’s my dream to own a place like that. It seems like your new town is so much better suited to you, you look (and sound) so happy!

Oh, you live in my friend’s old town! It’s such a cute place, and the guy and I might move out there when we’re ready to buy. If only the commute into DC weren’t such a killer – I like being able to take public transportation the whole way… Happy you are settling in!

This little town is adorable and it DOES remind me a of a GIlmore town! I’m glad you are doing the 30 because it gives you a good excuse to take daily pictures of your town.

You live in my parents’ town (I’m pretty sure)! I was wondering once you described it and I saw pictures. I love it there and was up there this weekend. It’s so pretty. Send me an email if you want any more info!

seeing that cashmere jumper really takes me back…my mother bought it for me in Burlington Arcade in London from JN Peal at a time when the Aussie dollar was worth far more than it is now. That was 39 years ago and just before I started university. I wore it a lot, and always hand washed it, but eventually it was too tight for me. Anyway, I always kept it thinking it way to good to throw out and hoping I would one day have daughters who would appreciate it. Although I was blessed beyond all expectations by two beautiful daughters they were simply too tall to ever fit into my jumpers, or sweaters as Americans call them.
But lo and behold, my ever resourceful son brought home a lovely daughter in law and now someone is able to give them a new lease of life. And if you are careful, who knows, one day Bunny may wear something from her grandmother and her very own great grandmother…
