The Quiet Before The Storm

While lookbook stuff has been underway I’ve been trying to relax – since I know once this collection is released I’ll be busy filling orders. It’s been nice not to have anything to actually do… but of course, like the work-a-holic freak that I am, I just ended up using all this free time to tackle projects for myself that I’ve had on the backburner for ages. But hey, at least I’ve got some fun stuff to share with you! I really need to learn to sit down when I have free time, instead of filling it with even more tasks!

Dress: Megan Nielsen, Sophia dress (Spring 2010)
Cardigan: Megan Nielsen (tutorial here)
Shoes: Old Navy
Locket: Vintage, family heirloom from my mom

i didn’t get a chance to comment on your post the other day, but the experience sounded awful–it’s surprising how inconsiderate people can be. i’m glad that it sounds like you’re feeling better.
p.s. purple is a gorgeous color on you, and you radiate such energy and happiness!

Well, enjoy the peace while it lasts! I think you’re going to be in for it with this collection. I LOVE this dress! I love the color, I love the tucks, I love how it looks with a cardi, and of course, it looks great on you. Don’t you think you’ve tormented us long enough?!?!? Kelly
