My green twirly skirt

I really love this circle skirt that I made a while back – don’t you think circle skirts are so perfect for twirling? These photos are actually from two years ago when Chris and I were travelling around Europe. On this particular day we walked to a local farmers market in a little town in Switzerland – it was honestly, just too pretty! I fell in love with Switzerland :)

Anyway, this skirt is once again self drafted… have I mentioned I’m not a huge fan of patterns in general?

It’s a circle skirt, made of two contrasting fabrics but with the same colour pallet. It was really easy. And it’s become a wardrobe staple.

Here’s a birds eye shot so you get the feeling…Now though it doesn’t appear that way in the picture, the hem is actually even… it just needs a serious ironing!!!

The funny thing is, it was super quick to make too. Which is nice. One of my favourite things to do is knock up a skirt and then wear it out that arvo!
