Banksia Sewalong: Long sleeved version show and tell

Seriously, could this be more perfect a top for cold weather layering?? I think not.

This is truly one of my favourite winter tops – and i’m so glad to have had the chance to show you how easy is to make with the Banksia pattern!! I especially love the silk i used for it – just before we left Virginia, i made one last trip to my favourite fabric store G street – and swooped up yards of this gorgeous navy crepe de chine. It feels like nothing at all – i love silk. If i could afford it, my whole wardrobe would be silk (well silk with tiny peanut butter finger prints on it hehehe)

Anyway, I’d love to know how yours turned out! Did you try a long sleeved version? Planning to?

Love it! Your blouse looks so warm and snuggly… or can silk be that way? Maybe? :)
I just made myself a knit blouse recently with sleeves very similar to this version of your banksia pattern, and can I say I love those type of bell-bottomed sleeves!
As always, your creations are very adorable.
