I think my busyness in other areas has somehow resulted in me doing much simpler faster projects for myself. I’ve really been loving a lot of the bright & large beaded necklaces i’ve seen around – but just haven’t seen one I liked enough to invest in. But as luck would have it, I was browsing JoAnns during the after the Thanksgiving sales and noticed you could buy strings of large beads for $4. That’s right I said $4. Needless to say I bought 4 sets of different colours.
This necklace was so easy to put together. I used some braided rope trim I had and threaded the beads on. DONE. The thing I love about this is that it isn’t permanent. I can change it up any time i like. I’ll try and get some photos of the other necklaces too – I used ribbon for one, and an old chain for another. They are honestly no brainers, and I’ve been loving wearing them!
oh ps. Could Virginia be any more beautiful?? I think not! Gosh i love this state… it’s December and it hasn’t gone below freezing yet. hehehe I can’t believe it! I never thought anywhere other than Perth could win my heart, but Virginia is well on the way :)
