DIY: quick and easy headband

February 15th, 2011 11 Comments

If you were a teenager in the 90′s, and you weren’t obsessed with Clueless… then I’m not sure we can be friends. Ok, kidding – but seriously, I still love that movie – and for some reason, no matter what – Cher continues to be one of my constant style inspirations. Do not judge, I know there are a tonne of you who are secretly the same. Anyway, there was a teeny tiny bit of Cher inspiration in this outfit. Long flowy blouses with a cropped sweater always make me feel very Cher. Well swap out the jeans for a mini and you’re there. Anyone following? Or am I just sounding crazy right now??

Sooo does anyone remember this post from when I was preggers? Someone asked me the other day how I made that headband. Really girls, so so easy. It’s a bit of an obsession for me.

Here’s what you do – Find a broach, find an elastic headband (I got a pack of 10 from walmart for a few bucks), pin the broach to the headband. Voila. Happy days. You will be hooked I promise!! It’s pretty much one of my staple solutions to a bad hair day. And braids. Anytime you see a headband like this or braids its a bad hair day. Or if they’re together, that’s probably a really bad hair day. Thankfully, I’m not at that point yet!
