Iowa is on the great plains right?? I think it means I’m allowed to dress a little prairie… What am I saying? who cares! We all know I’m gonna do it anyway!
This is one of my favourite dresses ever. EVER! I made it last year from a 70′s sewing pattern and vintage fabric. I love it so much I can’t stop wearing it over and over and over! but for some reason I almost always wear this dress with my boots. I can’t help it I love my boots.
Meanwhile Chris HATES it when I wear my hair like this – poor guy gets super stressed out when he sees people with hair in their eyes or almost in their eyes… hehe it’s so cute.
By the way, can you guess how I spent my morning today? that’s right – drawing on the front stoop with Bunny. She’s totally into colouring at the moment, and can’t seem to understand why mommy won’t let her draw on the floor… and the walls… and the couch… so I figured, if you can’t beat em join em – bought a huge tub of sidewalk chalk and let her go crazy!

How cute! My aunt bought a box of washable crayons for her daughter, she scrubbed the walls for a really long time to get back her clean wall! So watch out do you do consider getting her crayons before she can control herself.
That dress is adorable! I love dresses with rustic boots. I wish I had a closet full of them :)

I think those are the perfect boots to go with the dress.. I see why you love it so much… It makes you look so sweet and if I am aloud you look really young… Teen young!!! Maybe it’s the hair??!!
